How long do Americans have left before AI, offshore workers and H1B visas take the last of the jobs left?

I've used AI at work and it has some impressive capabilities. But it's basically a souped up version of that chatter box in your head. Is that really all there is to your existence? I think not.
Not long, I'm afraid. I was surprised when I used AI tool to generate document from existing code. It did it in minutes. And in the format I wanted since I fed it an example of an old handwritten document I did a while back.
And today, when I asked it to generate an html file with different drop down configurations and add it to the existing code, it did it in less than a minute.
I'm afraid to even look for another job after I get laid off, since my competition isn't a human any longer but AI.
