H1B Salaries & H4 Changes - Upcoming

H1B and other immigrant hiring salaries are to be revised again and proposal to stop spouse work visa's( H4 visa holders) are in progress. This might give some relief to economy in tough market conditions.

When H1b visa cost more chances are more for employers to hire US students, Citizens and Nationals.

STOP Hiring Foreign Nationals for SMALL Chunks/Chores and Support only High Talented Hires.

Various data, both recent and historical, bear out that the reduction of hiring foreign nationals does not result in higher employment rates for U.S citizens. Check the figures yourself before posting.
A key point here: in the log run, businesses figure out what works best to make money, and pursue that methodology... hire foreigners, relocate business centers to other geographic locations, use AI to lower the need for human workforce, etc. If the companies are large, they have political influence to help make this happen (I.E. via laws and govt measures). Currently, this effect is amplified, though this has been true in the past as well.

You know who is the worst enemy of a fresh immigrant? An immigrant who arrived a year ago.

@bb neither of those numbers are accurate but they were reported in the media. You should learn to do your own research instead of believing everything you read on the "news". They stopped reporting accurately years ago and have just become advertising platforms that deliver up information tailored to your particular biases.

Easy. With the right people involved, H1 will be gone in no time. Take the CA King PO PO, for example

OP, the way you write I am finding it hard to believe that English is your first language. If it is, I would challenge your credentials...

Don't hold your breath. Limiting H1B VISAs will never happen and it does there will be a work around.
