How long will job freeze last?

I am on job reassignment as I got burnt out taking calls all day. I am looking for internal positions but noticed they removed many jobs. How long will this job freeze last?

Email released last week. Interview for an open req the following week. Giving an offer to HR to find out that the open req is no longer and cannot extend the offer. All internal jobs were removed in the jobs hub. They have us complete the Centene voice surveys and growth has been a sore subject and the low scores affect the leaders. How is that even fair as a leader when we cannot offer growth within the company

“Hiring Pause”

New process:
Tier 1: Requests will be reviewed bi-weekly, with a focus on the business need, urgency, alternatives to hiring, and alignment to our operating model.”

Tier 2: Governance review to ensuring hiring decisions align with priorities, affordability and risk.

Once approved, it will move to talent attraction.

Not every request will move at the same pace and some requests may be paused or declined based on enterprise needs and prioritization.

There is no freeze. New process, with multiple approval steps. Might take longer than before, but old process was not fast either.

TA stated it’s not a freeze, management is reviewing all jobs posted and the approved ones should be back by Friday.

My boss isn't even acknowledging the job freeze. She acts like she doesn't know. Our workload has slowed to almost nothing.
