The continued tightening of the sc--ws at the office is the thing that is giving me anxiety. The out of nowhere lay offs and lack of control. Funny that we have a bunch of mental health resources when it’s actually choices leadership made that is causing my mental health to tank.

"...out of nowhere lay offs (sic)..." EH??
They have been laying off people essentially every 2 weeks for the past 5 years... About as far away from 'nowhere' as it gets.
Anyone else feel sick all Sunday knowing you have to go in on Monday? I need a job and no one is hiring so I'm stuck. I was always a very chill person but this last year is breaking me down hard.
Ah, yes, May is mental health month or as I call it, May. The emotional toll lasts all year long. And then eventually they come for you, and me (we're all deprecated assets.) But in the meantime, every month is mental health Awareness month; everybody I know is struggling or have embraced substance abuse problems as coping mechanisms.
OP you said it- these are choices made by leadership. Remember that when they try to pretend it’s just something that happens. Someone chose to displace you. Someone chose force stack ranking. Record profits and they still choose to do it.
Since starting at Wells Fargo, I’ve gone on anti depressants and anti anxiety meds
LMAO
They care about your mental health? lol!
They want you to take your anxiety meds in preparation for midyear reviews and layoff/employee appreciation day.
Take care of yourself. This job isn't worth losing your peace of mind and mental health. It'll be alright in the end.
