Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

JAX Campus

Anyone irritated and concerned that the Jacksonville campus is shutting down the parking garage for a good bit of time to pressure wash a practically new garage? Meanwhile, our whole state has a drought and terrible fires destroying our homes.. and we can’t water our grasp but once a week - yet the bank thinks it’s a good time to pressure wash a garage?

I don’t think that’s what they’re doing. I actually suspect that they are working on a sinkhole issue. I won’t park in that garage.. the campus has had sinkhole concerns for decades - and now the aquifer is dangerously low, so no thanks!

@ce
Silly attempt at whataboutism - Car wash businesses can operate during droughts by installing water reclamation systems that recycle up to 90–99% of water, using only 12–28 gallons per car compared to 150+ gallons for home washing.

@ce I’m a blast at parties actually! Even host at my house often since I’ve stayed in touch with the same big group of friends for 30 years. What’s your point? People can have concerns and be frustrated with d-mb corporate decisions that are harmful to our local atea and still be cooler and far more fun to be around than your grumpy self.

But nobody is having a party if our homes burn to the ground or a sink hole opens up and destroys our lives, so maybe brush up on the circumstances and the reality of the situation before you judge someone’s likability.. as if that’s important. :-D
