The way things are going right now, there are directors pushing people to adopt new tech, then telling them they can't use for what they were telling them to use it for, because it presents major security risks. Yet people already did.
These bad decisions will just compound the longer this goes on. We're sinking. Fast.

If any exec can defend the EPL/X fiasco, I'd love to hear it. Damn thing takes 20+ minutes to build a simple application that took maybe 3-4 minutes in TFS. Absolutely yet another joke forced upon over-stressed technology teams.

Yeah i feel that too. They have new leadership in tech that is out of their depth and making bad decisions. Our programs are being dismantled and not replaced with something better.

And dismantling Risk Programs as fast as we can to remove the "friction" of controls. Apparently leaders believe we over-controlled our precesses during RCsA and need to make things easier again. That's gonna go well.
