Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Layoffs stretching on for weeks?

I've heard that rumor one too many times. After all this preparation, couldn't they just rip the bandage off in a day or two? Why leave us hanging for weeks? Haven't we had enough stress already?

Don’t worry, they need to finish layoffs by May 1 because after that deadline they’d still need to pay out PSP bonuses. Can’t let those worthless firees have that

Not enough people in HR capable of being in the calls with peoples conversations. That’s why it will take a week.

@a5 No, that part is just speculation and common corporate practice.

Anyway, "most" GT teams will be back to normal by May 03, so it probably won't last more than 1 week for them
