Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

When is someone going to file a complaint about open floor plan?

Having not one second of privacy is bad for women:
While wearing a skirt or dress you have to constantly be aware of how you are sitting.
No privacy when standing up and adjusting your clothes. Pull and adjust in front of everyone.
With open floor plan someone can stare at you all day and there’s nothing you can do, if you even notice. T has nasty twerps working there just like any other place.
I’ve seen men standing just outside of my view then averting their eyes and walking away when I turned my head.
The stress of always being on display is getting to be too much.
To scratch anywhere everyone has to walk to a conference room or the restroom.
We need at least the mini cubicles for a bit of respect for our humanity.

I like to let my ballz hang out the side of my shorts. If you don't want to see them, then don't look.

Leadership does not care about your RTO whining, nor does the majority of the employee base.

@h0 how fcking normal do you think bringing a towel to workplace is acceptable? Bath towel? Kitchen towel? You're missing the point. Even working in a 3rd world country, as i did in the past, i had my own chair and desk and didnt have to bring a damn towel.

Just bring a towel in and use it as a seat cover. These issues are not that hard to solve.

I am more grossed out about the public chair. I bring my own mouse and keyboard, if I could bring my own camping chair I would. Who knows who fa---d there, or such dirty azz who dont wipe etc. I am just grossed out by how I think that my pants are ruined because of this. I bring an alcohol wipe before I sit down. As for clothes, I dress like a man.

Wow! The standard office attire for women used to be a blouse, skirt, and heels. Guess it’s slacks and sneakers for the win.

Open spaces help me stay on track. There are times I would normally start browsing for personal reasons but stop since I know others can easily walk by and see my screen. I get back to work instead.

I want my own chair. I don’t want to have to share a chair with a skirt person. I don’t know how clean they are if they always scratching and adjusting. They may not have enough layers of clothing for me and my taste and then my backside has to smell like their backside at the end of every day.

Yep -- and she is going to get paid because T does not want Stank's big mouth to turn one lawsuit into a class action suit.

I like open seating! It opens up the room to more collaboration and productivity. Most cities now have coworking spaces that follow the same model.

I doubt anyone is looking at you. Just sayin. Easiest solution is not wearing those kinds of outfits.

Get a lawyer and send a demand letter to HR. The Deciders only understand financial pain (or the threat of it).

The outcome is designed. There’s too many rent seeking MBAs in the game. It’s the concept of Elite Overproduction. Ask your Copilot about it.

Open floor plan su-ks for many professional reasons. Wearing a dress isn’t one of them. If you don’t know how to sit in a dress that’s on you sister.
