This is the [unofficial] chat for today’s COO Town Hall. Post your questions, comments and concerns here since we can’t truly be honest in MS Teams without fear of being monitored, fired, retaliated against.

@2s6 Mortgage was a high risk, mostly unprofitable business. Now it's an acceptable risk, mostly unprofitable business. Fact is that we are still too bloated/inefficient to compete effectively in the industry for the majority of the market (non jumbos)
@cg or to keep the profits up since Kleber ki-led mortgages
@af I could not hear a word they were saying because that’s all I could hear.
Panem et Circenses
@ag you are correct. I believe layoffs are no longer due to the asset cap, nor due to the company’s poor performance, but the layoffs now are to pay for all the AI development.
I refuse to listen to Baghdad Bob gaslight is us for an hour and tell us everything is great as he lays us off as soon as he can.
Mindless entertainment and distraction from what's really going on. What's the point?
If productivity software or an AI were to monitor the productivity of these events, the organizers and participants would have been laid off years ago.
It’s a show set up for entertainment
These THs have been void of any meaningful information and 100% performative for the last couple of years at least. Focus has been on Favorite desserts, our CAO's upcoming vacation plans to Japan and Morocco, and a bunch of other softball questions.
@a8 laid off or performanced out?
He avoided my question online which was if we are going to follow Risk and go to 4 days RTO. Instead we got question on favorite foods and people yodeling.
Good lord - questions now about the pins people are wearing and a woman yelling while trying to explain it
@a8 the company's success seems to have almost no bearing on whether people keep their jobs or not. If anything the layoffs have gotten worse and worse in direct relationship with the stock price going up and the company resolving their regulatory problems. I can't be the only one actively rooting for some big scandal to blow up and put the c-suite on their heels a bit. This company was a much better place to work when the CEO ran a constant risk of getting hauled in front of a congressional committee
Can they please remove their jingly FIESTA pins placed right next to their mic’s?!
Woof. I think he just said all the complaints people are going to be gone in the last 12 months give/take
Scott said he used non-Corporate allowed AI to fill out a gambling bracket during work time. Imagine one of his employees saying that and still being employed. But I’m glad the Head of AI only uses it to plan his family’s vacation. Definitely shows he’s qualified for the job.
No one cares about ncaa brackets. They only care about not being laid off
Yeah right - like WF will help with jobs.
Take a shot for every time he says "like"
If this guy is not just the most punchable guy ever I don’t know who is (maybe Charlie). I wonder how many in that room know they won’t be at the bank at the end of the year?
True that people want the company to succeed, but we also want some assurance we aren’t going to get laid off!
What are the lighted bracelets everyone is wearing?
Cowboy boots! Really? LOL
