Are you given an option for improvement plan? If so, can you decline and receive severance?
How frequently are we seeing NSI given to MPT employees in Canada ? Seems more common than in US.

Your supervisor has the option to offer you the pip or not. If no pip is offered, they'll cut you immediately and provide a settlement so you sign the paperwork.
All NSIs are offered the option for an improvement plan. My understanding is 3 NSIs within a 5 year time period puts you at risk of being terminated.
Meant to say that it seems more common in Canada than US…
