Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Sabotage

Have you ever worked for a company that constantly works against you being productive? Not just not helpful, actively makes it harder and harder to do your job? For the stock’s sake, I hope something changes.

Stock price is only for investors and the c-suite to get a golden parachute. For a large company like f-serv that is struggling, it's not for the average person to invest in and retire. Never put your eggs in one basket, and only invest what you're willing to lose.

Good thing I don't give a rip about the stock price, and I use tactics like this to drive down my productivity. Happy to do so.

Something to keep in mind: if they really wanted to, they would have done so already.

But instead they lay people off, expect others to pick up the slack, destroy trust, and play silly corporate games about who "needs improvement" all to "justify" cutting expenses and lining their own pockets. The sooner you stop caring about the stock price of a company that is actively working against you and not giving you the tools to succeed and focus on YOU the better off you'll be. Be smart, pay attention, think strategically, and I pray you break free of being a FiServant soon.
