Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Employee counts

Whether it’s true or not that the company must slash 50% of the workforce to survive, the number of employees has always boggled my mind. Where are all these people working, what groups, regions? Now we are 2x after the Lex acquisition, and it is even more of a mystery. Who has insight?

@bb Juarez has cheap labor and is close to the US border. The fact that it's the mu---r capitol of the world is just a bonus Lol

Lexmark has internal manufacturing and employs several thousand people in Juarez.

It’s Sales promising major accounts their own on site tech for a group of machines.
It’s insane. Of course they go with Xerox as nobody else could afford to do that.
Wonder why we are loosing money?? 🤔
