Not until I walk out for good. But I still do my work, still do it right. I just stopped playing the games. No more kissing up, no more pretending to love meetings, no more acting like I care about things I don't. I do my job and go home. That's enough.

Go on vacation or have s3x to find happiness. You will never find happiness at a failing bank in San Antonio, Texas.
You work at at d-tier bank doing middle office work. We aren’t saving lives or creating art. Go anywhere else for the same job, it’s all the same. Always has. Always will. Movies and SNL skits have clocked this since the 70’s.
@ae I don't know. But, I am guessing that some people (not the perfect people, like you) may stay in a job they do not like because they have to put food on the table for their family, pay the rent, or a mortgage, etc. I guess we should ask those guys doing roofing during a hot San Antonio summer (for you USAA HQs folks) why they do not "leave" if they do not like cooking on top of someone's home despite the fact that they likely need the money to survive. Frankly, I am as hard-edged as it comes as compared to most people. I served in the military for 20 years during the GWOT in an infantry unit (82d Airborne) and then transitioned onto USAA where I worked four years to the day. So, I understand how people may feel and - yes - sometimes people just complain to complain (I've seen that right inside the halls of the SA HQs). But then I read mo--nic suggestions like yours and it just pi---s me off. Maybe it the good ol' PTSD coming back. I don't know.
Wait, you don't like the meetings? In A&A we have a pre-pre meeting so the id1ot directors know what's going on. The pre-meeting is so they and the short ED knows what's going on. Then a routine 30 meeting happens. Then a post meeting because they were on slack and text during the meeting and not paying attention. How inefficient are we with members' money. Yeah, wE kNoW wHaT iT means tO sErVe.
Preach.
Leaving is NOT easy! We are Adults with financial responsibilities and some of us have families who depend on us. It is very difficult to find another job that pays the same in the current climate. So like most of us unhappy at USAA, we are changing our mindset so that we can continue to get a paycheck. People here need to stop being so cold and understand what people are going through emotionally. Its tough and i completely understand.
Why don’t you leave.
