Perhaps you can blame the co--------g executives of this company like Jon Freier, Deanne King, Mike Sievert, Mike Katz, Jeff Simon, and Srini, who got rich themselves and then gave away countless good American jobs to foreigners so that they could make their share prices go up even further.

Take it as a good sign that nothing major is happening right now.
When things are relatively stable internally, there just isn’t much real info to discuss, so the board fills the gap with low-effort topics.
But when people start sensing that something bigger might be coming, the quality tends to snap back because folks have more things to share or speculate about.
Maybe T-Mobile has created this division through multiple layoffs and exposing ageism, the use of outsourced labor as best business practice. This wears people down and brings out less tolerance in general. I do agree however that the discord should be directed above and not towards fellow coworkers.
