From the numbers we have seen Fiber and Wireless have done pretty good to this point. I feel good about the spectrum purchase, Lumen will test part of that strategy imo. These outlays are core business. Not like the purchases under Stephenson. Becoming a media company was a complete outlier. Spent all of that money and didn’t have a single person in the company with any knowledge of that business.
Looks like the company will continue to put money into what they perceive as the growth engines.
That's why we're doomed. They perceive in a fantasyland. Buy high, sell low.
AI replacement is picking up momentum across all industries. The wave that’s coming will be huge.
Lived through a few of these. Some L2-3 didn’t leave until much later than the L1 group because of transitioning work and some never left because they bumped down and took a lower position. Kept basic salary and lost some perks. With RTO and technology it will be interesting to see how this continues to evolve. Looks like the company will continue to put money into what they perceive as the growth engines. With the extra spectrum and the ability to use it more efficiently is that capital just going to go towards green field opportunities? Most of my area is fibered. They are hitting new construction and some empty pockets. How many people will they need to accomplish this shift?
The closest thing to voluntary will be your willingness to move to a "designated hub". The definition of "hub" is fluid and likely to change once you purchase a home.
