Often when the company knows who they are going to hire - especially if it’s from outside - they have to post but take it down as soon as possible.

HR has guidelines for how long jobs are posted. It was something like 40 applicants or 7/10 days. I don’t remember for sure. In this cr-p economy the position could have hit the numbers quickly.
Yeah but only posted for one week? Usually new jobs are posted 2-4 weeks. I'm sure there gonna get some great candidates for this role.
