It’s not just me. Employees have stopped working. As the rumors continue, people are sitting and waiting. Why invest any effort at all if you’re gone “Tomorrow”. If Oracle wants to resume normal business , they better move past the layoffs rumors and make it happen. At this point workers have stepped off the playing field while they await word of their employment. Productivity has ground to a halt.

This reminds me of 2017, when the RIF was leaked by a VP (who was later fired). All work in that division ground to a halt as everyone began to hunt for a new job.
A high level VP (ES) barked at us to get back to work, but few did. When the RIF hit it was worse than anyone expected.
The executive "leadership" has to realize what kind of distraction and drag on productivity this is, and if there was no truth to the rumors, they would come right out and say it so people can get back to focusing on work. Their silence speaks volumes.
It looks like that Cormac was not happy in the EMEA all hands call either. I think he is also just letting time pass now. 😂
I have a ton of work to do, but I’m doing absolutely nothing until the layoff is over and I’m on the other side of it. Everyone on my team is doing the same. So they need to deal with this rumor if it’s truly fake
I'm curious, anyone here in Support or other customer facing role? Any feedback from them about all this, or comments on changes to the quality of the service they are paying for?
Oracle is shedding employees like mad and those still there are being shredded emotionally and psychologically. I rather pity Sales, who is going to want to invest in Oracle products to run their business with it in such a state, and no idea if it's going to recover.
Productivity? I vaguely remember this word. I can almost remember the meaning...
Slow death 💀😂
We were hit hard by the RIFs in September, so the remaining team has been delivering the bare minimum. A few old timers think they can make it to retirement, but everyone else is checked out and either waiting for the severance, trying to find another job elsewhere, or both.
what? i stopped working in september
Because if I don’t get work done my Manager Habibi will shout at me
They will do this slowly as they always do. Nothing happens at speed in Oracle.
