FYI, they spent 12 million on copilot and they're pushing it so hard so it can learn everything we do indeed to automate more and ultimately have less employees. But using it is optional (for now), do with that what you will.

But here's the kicker, let's think a few steps ahead. If millions of folks are laid off because all these companies are attempting to create nearly pure profit machines, where will the profit come from if almost no one will have money to spend? People will eliminate entertainment and conveniences first, but eventually will have to cut deeper when there isn't a sufficient job market. This has the potential to completely collapse their marketplace products IF AI can function within all the nuance and multifaceted issues facing the industry. But if it can't, we shouldn't come back.

To any and all the higher ups reading this: When AI bubble pops and you finally can see it doesnt work as well as you think it does, good f'ing luck. 45% accuracy and sending out peoples PHI to ai companies, youre just ripe for lawsuits.

There are people in your company that already automate tasks without ai. You just never listened to them.

@OP March 2027 will look very different from March 2026. Things are changing rapidly on so many levels. This is not going to be a fun ride for many of us. Buckle up.

They’re already using AI automation. This townhall was their announcement of layoffs.

They basically signalled more layoffs without announcing more layoffs. “No margin no mission” +“ work will be more automated”? That is a dead giveaway for reducing costs to improve margin. Aka the word everyone dreads “layoffs”.
