You get stuck in your role here with no real path forward. Management doesn't care what you contribute. Strong reviews and extra effort mean nothing when they decide you cost too much. The layoffs come for everyone eventually. Only come here if you have absolutely no other choice.

In every company Indians have gotten into they always hire 99% Indian, and force outsourcing to India directly. This is not new, its just history.
You should've left already then. Sad sack story but everyone knew that there were 5 promotions a year in an org like GT. You knew you weren't learning Jack from those around you, and you knew there were layoffs every year. What were you thinking?
