Saw this on fishbowl. Is this true “Any insight into the changes involving
Leads no longer being allowed to have direct reports (unless essentially grandfathered in) and ADs no longer allowed to have Leads reporting to them? What else can we expect?”

Leads aren’t supposed to have direct reports anyway
leads are susposed to be individual contributors so we’re never intended to lead others. AD can lead people and is supposed to have I think 6 or more people. Basically if you lead people they want you to lead a full team or otherwise be an individual contributor no half way
They keep trying to clean things up in the professional track and keep it as individual contributor positions, but I doubt it fully changes because no one wants to be fully middle management in the traditional sense because of the great flattening as they get rid of middle management.
AD and Lead were basically the same level but in the new/future orgs one is now an individual contributor and the other is managerial track with direct reports. Leads that kept direct reports were transitioned to be AD's but there are some (IC) leads that report to a AD's now.
Heard that from last year and then I this month I got moved under a lead
I heard the same thing although unsure of how true this is, if at all. I guess time will tell.
