@dg - Don’t forget that severance packages can be negotiated. They should pay you at least 1-2 weeks per each year of service, plus any accrued unpaid vacation time.

@a2 this is most driven by the pivot to full tech company move and the rebrand launch next month - new logo, colours everything. Creating impression of a silicon valley start up, lean and efficient. The AI bet has to pay to off to make this work, the competition will no longer be Amadeus but but larger set of tech new and old. This seems too artificial too quick.

It seems that senior management is keeping a very tight lid on things this time, much more so than in 2023. Nothing is apparently being widely shared regarding size or scope. It looks like many in middle management don't even know whether they or their employees are impacted. Pretty scary.
