My department has been frozen for months. Nobody in, no backfills. Is this happening across the board, or are some groups still hiring?

@166 sad by true. VK sold Honeywell for parts. What a company was in 1990-2015, once monkeys started climbing the tree, they shi.. everything useful
The recent spinoff Solstice is hiring, hundreds since the spun off was announced. Stock is up 70% in 4 months since the actual separation. I expect same results for Aero. But not for the residual Honeywell, so ably run by VK and SV’s crack tech team.
@na "Once the Aero separation happens the PA leaders are in for a nasty surprise with their workforce."
They will have 80% of their own kind. I’m glad I moved to AERO, I saw the writing on the wall a long time ago. I couldn’t stand the nepotism among Indians at Honeywell.
@h6 they are not even bothering with trying to hire in the US anymore, the reqs just go straight to India. Amusingly the same management will talk about how the team should win US Government contracts. Once the Aero separation happens the PA leaders are in for a nasty surprise with their workforce.
Gen Z calls this company as Honeyhell, go figure how they can hire
Good luck with those visas. America is not exactly immigrant friendly these days. Legal or not …. you, your spouse, and your children could end up in detention regardless of papers held. Go ahead and take those bubble assignments. I suggest you ask for $1M rupee insurance policies to cover immigration issues as part of the contract.
@em yep, at the expense of Americans, sadly, all jobs are posted with idea NOT to hire a local, bring someone from India.
@em I'm gonna guess it starts with I and ends with A.
In PA we are hiring in a specific country only. Can you guess which one?
aero smells like reorg to me.
directors are jockeying for position everywhere.
lots of meetings and one on ones but little news and no leadership.
only message we hear is "trust us nothing is changing" .... well my pay check changed..
Well, if you believe that you’re wrong. Honeywell aerospace Minneapolis is hiring.
