Thread regarding Open Text Corp. layoffs

SMBC is next or coming up soon

Too many weird financial requests for information from 2-3 years ago. Stop telling us "Audit requests" or "forecast" we are not that stupid, since prior fiscal years have already been audited.

Mark once said Cybersecurity provided by Carbonate is what allowed us to get thru COVID successfully https://youtu.be/4HBLiAJEfTI?si=Ntj5j-O__OuLmbd2

But he also said work from home would be the new normal.

Just illiterates that OpenText never has a plan and just throw spaghetti at the wall and sees what sticks. And now we are trying to sell the spaghetti that hit the floor and no one wants it.

Sandy Ono and Mark B never took into account Top-of-Mind Association. So there were no ideal acquisitions just wishes and hopes things would just work out. For starters any idea why the company is named OpenText. I get text but what is open? Before I joined I thought this was a messaging service.

Yes. SMBC does not fit into the OT model
It should have been diverted years ago
They should keep some Zix and Brightcloud

Keep an eye on the Webroot/Carbonite partner forums. If partners start reporting service transition notices or changes in account management, it's often a sign that due diligence is in the final stages.

My guess is that they are trying to determine if SMB/C had been its own independent company for the last 3 years since go live of project CYAN, what would its true profitability have been? Prior reporting has been all over the place overseen by many people no longer here.
