I've been in a role as administrative support the past 5 years and feel as though my days may be numbered. I've tried applying out but I've heard that any administrative clerks and support are stuck. I've applied for about 20 different positions over the last year and have been with the company 10 years with a solid resume. No interviews at all. I am worried my role is not significant enough for them and would not be surprised if they RIFd me. Has anyone else experienced this feeling like you're being blocked?

They've always had problems with their recruiters. They fail to interview and actually pass over qualified people including applicants that managers have inquired about and fail to communicate effectively. I know they've even failed to follow up on offering the selected candidates the position. It's happened to myself and others for years.
@dp Don't forget corrupt, it's corrupt too.
They are earmarked for a specific person. They have trouble promoting people for whatever reason. So they post a higher level roll intended for a person they want to promote, that person applies and gets the job. This place is so stupid.
@a4 I did, but its rare. Some of it is certainly luck, but I do agree that alot of the job postings are never filled.
Does anyone get ever get an interview for non-lateral positions? I’m not convinced half of these internal jobs listings on Pulse are even real. The ‘recruiters’ also only hire those that benefit them and make them look good.
