I’ve been looking to make the transition from retail to HQ as I would like to use my degree. The recent layoff have me leery but this might be the perfect time. How are things at HQ (OP and Frisco) currently? Any advice?

Using a degree at TMO is laughable. AE? Door knocking pizza shops and hair salons will be a rude awakening.
become an AE and network with other people in the office and transition to any other role from there after "mentoring". tmo does not care about degrees. bunch of id--ts in senior level roles not knowing what they are doing
I've worked with several people in corporate that were doing the magenta accelerator program, I think they all got offers at the end. They all seemed pretty happy with it.

Insensitive question to ask but sure. Nah, just focus on updating your workday/linkedin and then try in six months. Don’t want to be seen a bottom feeder. Go to your retail calls, find a way to network with the people that run them and then see how you can help from where you are.
