@ea The quota for subsidies is for the new building being built and a way off. Not only that, they don't receive the grant for several years. Layoffs happening now have zero impact on the subsidies from NC for the new site. The current Charlottes site is more of a we-works anyway. They can certainly clean house there with no impacts to the deal they made for the grant.

@ea March 2025 layoffs they let go of a whole Charlotte KYC team including the manager. It can happen for sure.
It's all months and you will be fine if you are on visa like H1B, L1, TN etc.. It's perfect if you have the same caste IT manager.
American Citizens will be impacted!
Anyone that gets laid off in Charlotte is because they want to get rid of that person; not the position. They have quotas to meet for state subsidies.
There will be layoffs in Feb, rumor has it somewhere between the 11th and 18th.
