Can my last day of work be on a Saturday?

If I don’t get laid off tomorrow (Tuesday 2/3) I will resign on bonus payout day 2/13. I have another job lined up but they are very flexible on start day. I need to give 30 days notice at WF, can my last day of work be Saturday 3/14? Or do I need to work until Monday 3/16?

It’s unlikely that I’ll be laid off tomorrow unfortunately.

You are not eligible for a bonus if you give notice before or on the bonus payment date. Wait until the following Monday.

once your manager enters the resignation in workday, workday will automatically apply the notice period you are subject to and set the end date accordingly

No, your last day of work can't be on a Saturday. If you are a VP subject to notice requirement, working days are M-F.

I know of 8 people who are resigning on 2/13, including me. Most people are keeping it quiet for fear of losing their bonus. About one third of my team is resigning that I am aware of. 6 months ago we got a new Indian manager and it’s been a disaster. I’ve been working 10-12 hour days and I can’t keep doing that!
