Just ripped my Honeywell thermostat off the wall. Dead on the coldest night of the year. Thanks for nothing

Those are only going to get worse. Resideo is breaking up into two companies now..
Yes it is true Honeywell just rents its name out and no longer makes stats. I can hardly wait until the Honeywell toilets launch later this year
You all realize Honeywell doesn't make your thermostat. They got rid of that business years ago.
Was laid off from Honeywell in 2023. First thing I did after filing unemployment was replace our Honeywell thermostats with Nest. Gas and electric use went down 6% as a result.
That is very smart on Honeywell’s behalf. Now you gotta buy a new one. They probably designed it to break down during the coldest time of the year. Especially if you work for them.
Then, if I know Honeywell. They will furlough you, layoff, or RIF. I think a PIP is coming.
I know this isn’t funny. I guess you’ll just have to work nonstop overtime to stay warm. I wouldn’t be surprised the designing thermostats. What’s 100 and degrees outside the air conditioning doesn’t turn on. Then you work Monday through Sunday and the holiday holidays. Where we have air-conditioning.
