I’m hating this CIFT team more than ever. I joined this team recently as a Quality Analyst, and people here have so much attitude and arrogance almost all of them are like this. I feel like I want to quit this team or even this role.

Be careful with the details—all of GBD watches this site. It’s pretty easy to figure out identities when a specific team name is mentioned. You might want to keep it more anonymous to stay safe.
You might not want to be so specific about your job/department.
If you just started then they are probably still “training” you. Any training at Elevance su-ks. They will stick you with someone that has no business training you, then blame you for their training failures. These people are probably short handed so then they resent training you and cop an attitude. Also, a lot of these teams are like high school ( same people in same roles for way too many years) where they hate the new person. They feel threatened by people with varied work backgrounds. They need to be the star of the show and don’t want anyone taking the spotlight off them. It’s really pathetic. Stay for your year and then start the hunt all over again.
Eventually AI is going to take over these jobs. They can be arrogant all the way to the unemployment line.
They are probably like this because they are in self-preservation mode. This team has seen a lot of riffs in the past few years so whomever is left thinks their sh-t don’t stink. This group isn’t the only ones. Ever work with anyone in GBD encounters? Another group of arrogant a--holes that think they are the smartest people in the room. GBD had taken a lot of riff hits. I think when you work in an area where riffs happen a lot you get this attitude to protect yourself.
