Provider is in a pretty good spot. They have a task, but very manageable.
Do they work supporting sales? If they do, they probably won't be touched. Sales is never touched on in this type of layoff. Think of Cigna as any other subscription company. Sales are the money makers you lay off sales or people who are supporting sales, the whole company collapses. Who tells you otherwise do not know how a corporation works.
I heard they built a call center in the Philippines.
