“Thso exthited for the coffee bar here in pithsburgg” says one director. That lisp. Their fake excitement over it made me think it was free before it opened up - what an joke. We wouldn’t need to live off of coffee and work ourselves to death if they didn’t cut so many people last year and double our work load.

Unfortunately, this is the mentality of the current people in this place. If they don't get want they want then they throw their toys out of the pram. Unfortunately, that's not how the world works. An organization hires and pays you to do what they want, not what you want. Same if you left and went to "another" place - just like when someone visits your house, they're expected to adhere to your rules not impose their own.

That is a foolish idea. What good is a strike without the protection of a union contract? If you refuse to work and you do not have a contract to protect you, you have effectively quit. No unemployment, no severance.

Go ahead. They have 25,000 others in India who will gladly take everyone’s jobs for a fraction of the cost. And the rest of the positions will be taken over by AI.

Don’t need to entice AI to do work with free coffee either.
