It really makes me mad that you have some PepsiCo employees who work really hard, get no recognition and/or they get laid off. Then you have those PepsiCo employees who are constantly on their cell phones, Facebook, etc. Get off your phones/Facebook people!! You’re being paid to do a job not to express your political opinions, etc., during work hours!!!

This is true-There is a profound "night and day" disconnect between the US and India group of Santosh’s organization. While the US team is focused on high-stakes Delivery, the leadership culture in India has shifted toward coercive control and a total lack of transparency.
Specifically, two women who report to Santosh have established a culture of proxy-based intimidation. They constantly leverage Santosh’s name to bypass professional protocols and silence any technical dissent. This behavior has permeated the rest of the India office, creating a unified front that prioritizes personal loyalty over the company’s delivery goals.
The most critical issue, however, is the lack of financial integrity. There is a visible pattern of "under the table" exchanges and a complete absence of fiscal oversight. Between the inflated travel budgets and the whispered reports of financial irregularities, it appears this abrasive management style is being used specifically to shield the org from audits.
The contrast is clear: The US is driving Delivery, while the India leadership is running a closed-loop system of self-interest. If the company is serious about efficiency and ethics, it needs to look past the "gatekeepers" and investigate the financial and professional conduct within Santosh’s inner circle. It’s time for Santosh to do some cleansing.
During a team lunch, we started talking about someone a few of us were glad to see leave. One of the women, who is highly respected and in a senior position, told someone in our group that she sees it as simply not being her time yet. Even when she feels happy about certain changes, there’s always a ticking clock in the back of her mind.
