The split between Shannon Bell (Innovation) and Muhi Majzoub (Stability) creates immediate redundancy that will need to be "fixed."
• Duplicate Roles: You now effectively have two separate engineering organizations. In corporate structures, this usually leads to a wave of cuts in Operations, HR, and Finance support roles because the company doesn't need two sets of administrative teams.
• The "Middle Management" Squeeze: Leadership is trying to flatten the org structure. Expect cuts at the Director and VP level, particularly those who sit between the new leaders and the product teams.

Lower level? Nah. It’ll be middle management mixed with various execs.

Nope. It’s just the beginning.

OpenText runs on the Peter principle, so it will now have to take its natural course.
