With American tech sector shedding another hundred thousand + jobs this year, what is a techie supposed to do next? Since the planet is on course for a war, how hard is it for civilians to work in the military? Sigint is one of my specialties

@bv This.
AI as it functions now is basically telling you things you want to hear, and small tasks.
Agentic AI is trained similarly but has more control to do things. It still ultimately does those 2 tasks. If the answers are wrong people don't use it, and if they are right and disliked it's used less. It also has ethical and copyright issues to sort out. If that becomes massive lawsuits nearly every company can be held liable on their homemade ones. Including our Aviator depending on full functionality.
@br AGI is science fiction. We have if-then-else autocomplete engines telling people to put glue on pizza. Every time you think we're in Blade Runner, you will find out we're in Futurama.
Get a job at a company that is really investing/producing AI. Artificial General Intelligence is the next big thing and OpenText will not have anything to do with that unless they can add AI to fax machine.
