On “decent” authority- I’m hearing those affected by spam of control changes are all under consideration.
The training is sh!te because they absolutely gutted Ed Services. There's barely anyone left in that org. Thank OMB for that...
@aa I'm still getting VxRail mandatory trainings based on 2023 material. After MD openly and publicly stated that "VxRail is no longer a thing".
@a5 Dell has layed off over 20k in the US alone. Overall headcount hasn't been as affected because jobs are being "replaced" by AI (Actual Indians).
@aa My entire does it because it's the only way to get through it as our workload is not adjusted ti allow us time to actually consume the training.
@a7 Wait, so are you saying you skip through the training slides and speed up the play speed? If so, ME TOO!
They should get rid of HR and training teams.. HR team in Dell su-ks, they are fit for nothing.. and training is an absolute joke.
CSG will take a bigger impact.. sales ops, marketing, in small portion.. support, software teams will take a big hit.. ISG will have a negligible impact
@OP Current headcount stands at approximately 96–97K. Through fiscal year 2026, the workforce has already been reduced significantly, with roughly 10–12K employees laid off to date. By the end of this month, there may be an additional reduction of 1–2K employees, potentially impacting all business units. Sales is expected to see a substantial decrease, with support teams experiencing proportional reductions as well. These figures are expected to be reported in the SEC filing following the release of Q4 and full-year results.
I'm hoping the manegerial levels will be hit - hopefully not my "manager/PM" - but there needs to be a mass cleanout of managers and directors IMPO
