Really, it will affect mostly EMEA
Merging with another company. Of course there will be layoffs.
That would leave only a couple of dozen humans running the company.
In the article:
"Verizon’s Q4 2025 earnings revealed declining revenue and fierce competition from rivals like T-Mobile and AT&T."
Verizon will release Q4 2025 results on Jan 30. Today is Jan 17.
Baseless article from an attention seeking author without a shredded of evidence to support anything.
When will the Union Employees get laid off?? It appears that’s where you start.
@OP If you replace a lot of customer service with AI. I'm not sure how fat payroll and those groups are that they can be out sourced to another company. Still have managers with low head count but whats that 100? Ops and engineering I can't see this year. Maybe VSP down the road to target high rollers. So the other big numbers are union so that would happen with the right package
This all a lie. Dan already said there would not be any more layoffs.
Why just 15k?
This sounds about right
Not fake news
@am not fake. plans are being put in place. be warned.
@ax keep dreaming. With the daily gussing sooner or later it will hit one. Everyone was warned about this one.
Don't forget this board has predicted 30 of the past 10 RIFs
@a1 yes, fake
Idk about the 15,000 #, can’t confirm or deny that, BUT this quarter there is a large batch coming :/
I think most of us knew it but it doesn’t hurt to start preparing
That seems about right, there suppose to be be 2 major rounds this year, but lets see. The way stock is going down and the massive outage, things look ugly.
Seems a bit exaggerated wouldn't you say?
Fake news!
