Heard Highmark did some layoffs on Friday. Do not know the full extent of it but a few people from a team i work with were let go and I heard it was much more than that. Anyone have more information? Are further layoffs coming?

Anyone who was laid off, or will get laid off soon, should consider themselves lucky. Just about anything you find after the fact will be 100 times better than working for that high stress cr-ppy company that values nothing except their bottom line. Highmark was the Absolute worst job I ever had in my 35 years in IT.
Definitely was. I was one, which was shocking enough, but there were people that were there a very long time and did vital work. But hey, a certain useless director had to promote his equally useless cronies. Job market is brutal but it ended up working out for the best for me and I am glad to be gone. Heard they did more layoffs in Feb and March plus there were the Xmas ones. A sinking ship.

13 people in my department were laid off. Me included.
@OP Not sure about further layoffs. I was part of the RIF this morning. Still confirming with those I heard were impacted.
