Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

DXC has been surviving on the residual goodwill of its predecessors for years now

Longtime customers gave us more slack than we deserved because of the strong reputations built under the old names, but that grace only lasts so long. Once people start realizing that sticking with DXC is hurting their own projects or careers, the loyalty disappears fast. From this point on, the exodus of customers will just become worse.

@OP Question is how on earth did DXC get the Met Police gig in the UK? Long term deal apparently. Thought this client was previously messed up by CSC so how come another go? Look out for sponsorship logo on police uniforms / cars etc.

Anyone that stays at DXC and is unhappy is a loser with a capital L!

You don’t like it then leave , if you are staying be your too chicken sh-t too leave the you are a loser

If you stay waiting for redundancy then shut the F up already as your not a professional anyway

I completely second it. I work closely with a lot of sales people giving them technical inputs to the solutions they are selling. I really don;t understand some of the deals, they are in the pipeline for years together and DXC would have easily spent more money on the resources than what they actually are making if the deal is finalized. Nobody here has a long time vision or strategy that actually would work. Sales and Upper management are happy with the Bonuses that they get and that is really not helping the company at all.

Those who stay are here for bargains not loyalty. At the expense of employee pay and morale. DXC exists only as a doormat for its clients. It's desperate, dirt cheap, endlessly exploitable for non-contractual freebies and disposable the second a better option appears. Most clients won’t even take reference calls. They just want those dirt cheap FTEs and a cudgel over DXC management.
DXC’s sales team is a legion of fools and each new contract they sign is a s-cker’s trap for the company.
