@ez you’re encouraged to eat sh-t because at the end of the day …analysts get bonuses !!!. Not only didnt they earn them but don’t deserve them when the rest of the real employees get nothing. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it
I’m pretty sure every analyst in the early careers tracks gets at least something, but that amount varies. It’ll be more for analyst groups where we need to compete against other big banks for talent. Those banks might vet the same applicants for investment banking and those banks will pay $50-$100k bonuses to first year analysts. We don’t pay any analyst that much, but will definitely pay more than $2500 to our analysts in more competitive roles.
People need to remember that this is a massive company with a million different career paths, and not every role is in every location. We aren’t going to pay bonuses to ops analysts in the same way we do someone on a trading desk or sales role. They require different skillsets. Just asking “do analysts get bonuses” implies that you might need to read more about how our industry awards compensation and how different functions are viewed. I’m guessing you might be exposed to a very narrow subset of the bank, and I encourage you to get broader exposure to the career paths out there. There are many people, analysts or older, who do get paid good bonuses.
You can’t spell “analyst” without the first four letters mate. Further elaboration will get me banned.
You get a bonerus. In the donut hole.
They sure do. The last round that started aug 2024 and was only on tbe floor and still training to december somehow got $2500 . Then they also got cost of living/competitive pay raises of atleast $2500 9/1/2025 . If thats not a slap in the face dont know what is. So they will get bonuses again for ending 2025
