Didn’t get to submit it before the deadline. Can I just contact HR to get it paid out? I know it may come later but still want to be sure I get all what is owed to me.

It will be automatically paid out. Whatever you had left as of 12/19. You don't have to do anything.
Wait, were we supposed to do something about our accumulated PTO? I thought it was just automatically paid out to you.
