There is nothing left to let go. But they'll boast on how AI will magically improve productivity and reduce headcount... And it will, maybe, but not in AIG. Meanwhile Pete is desperate to improve results that are constantly below peers level, with deals that make no sense (300m for everest's sh***y portfolio, really??). If Chubb can't buy us this year it will happen in 2027 when Pete's mandate ends

There was a couple of minor ones in December 2025, so management must have had a budget to hit by year end.

But they seem to be trying to recruit now to replace people they got rid of in 2024.

Heard Ops will be impacted in 2026 which makes no sense as Ops has never fully recovered from VERP. AI will impact the IT contractors due to the progress in AI for technology as so few employees are left in IT that actually code
