Cork, Liverpool, Poole how are you doing? Any updates on when offices expect to close? Are any of you offered BAH contracts or relocation?
Wexford employees who are now BAH, did you get a new BAH contract where it says you may have to return to office or how is it working for you?
@24f would a commute to London be doable from Poole?
The Poole office closes 14th Aug 26 with some people leaving on that date and others will be based at home for an extra few months.
Commuting daily to Manchester is not an option as the train is over 4.5 hours each way and the drive is over 5 hours each way.
Relocation or a role in London are really the only options to stay with the company.
@18a initially wexford were told a certain percentage could have BAH contracts, then that rose as more Corp Trust staff were given those contracts. I know some TA staff took BAH as well.
@wm what business line do they work in?
Based at home means never promoted, no chance of internal mobility and on a hit list
I wonder if all new BAH staff are automatically Group 4!
@wm I head that about the wfh alright. And I dont think the severance package will be as good either.
Commuting from Wex to Dub would be OK 2 or 3 days a week but 4 or 5would be a ki-ler.
@cb thats a shame. Are any teams relocating to Manc? I know the commute would be a pain in the as$ tho
I know of at least one person in Wexford who has taken a WFH position, although I've also heard that anyone working from home full time will be gone by the end of 2026.
Not sure any Wex have taken the BAH option…. All will be rolled off by end 2026.
Cork the same, but may spill into 2027. Office to close mid-2026.
Unsure of Poole, but a far more reasonable commute than wex/cork to Dublin.
@cb there is an office 30 miles away which staff probably have the option of moving to. It’s colleagues in Wexford and Cork I feel more sorry for.
Morale in Liverpool is at all time low. No Xmas party or even a mention of it, year end ratings being dropped & record sickness. Shame on Dennis Wallestad and Craig Clifford for allowing this to happen.
