Seeing conflicting things around how long I need to stay to get bonus paid out. I'm an L9 looking to put in 2 weeks notice in the New Year. To get my bonus, do I have to work through 12/31 this year or through the actual payout date?

Do you run a team? Why don’t you see how little work you can do and see how that works out for you? You might get promoted or maybe they’ll offer you a severance to push you out. Worth a shot.
Be advised, a lot of companies will revoke your access the day you put in your two weeks notice. Plan accordingly. Make sure you back up your personal info off the laptop before you put in your notice. Also, give the current climate, I would just turn my laptop into the tech bar and walk out.
Confirming for cash bonus payout you need to be actively employed on 12/31, but you still won’t receive the payment until the first March pay cycle. If you have invested RSUs, you need to be actively employed on the vest date (typically 3/1 or 7/1) or you will forfeit them.
12/31. Just check with HR but 12/31 is correct. Good luck and I don’t blame you. You’ll be better off and after this poorly managed Reorg I’m sure you’re not the only one
