Does that ever happen at this company since the leaders have no qualms about it? Or do we have to wait till January to kick off fresh 2026 waves to hit the target?

They will fire or layoff people regardless of the time or season.
In years past the numbers typically are very very low from mid Dec until March. Doesn't mean it won't be different this year, but that's typically how it goes. All I know for sure is that it won't stop until Shart leaves or we're all gone.
If Charles Ebenezer Scrooge Scharf had his way there would be a lot more people fired in Dec and no way to give their families Christmas just like me. When I had my unemployment hearing the judge was shocked and said it makes no sense. How does anyone work 17 yrs and get fired for performance. I had to explain it. Stack ranking "calibrations" should be illegal and included as discrimination. Right to work needs abolished because there are no rights in what WF is doing. If you volunteer to leave you have to give 90 day notice but they can terminate on the spot for no reason or made up reason so how is that fair.
F the executives. No one should be getting laid off here. Record profits, asset cap lifted, record exec salaries. If you are doing your job it should be safe. Remember 2008 when all the banks asked for taxpayers ( me and you) to bail them out. Now they have the nerve to lay us off and send our jobs overseas. F HY. F CS. F BE.
No layoff Xmas week because all important people are off.
