If Converse Technology were to be brought under a Nike Senior Director, nearly 80% of its functions would likely be eliminated, as much of the work currently performed is already being duplicated elsewhere. Those currently managing the organization claim it is already leaner than Nike in order to survive; however, even within this so-called streamlined structure, nearly 80% inefficiency still exists.
@mb+ we dont own our st thats why coverse just copies the same st??
Why integrate when Nike can’t even get its own s**t together?
They should sell the shoes on the website and shut the rest of it down. So much wasted time not integrating them
Cant you just run the Chuck business with like 5 people in Boston?
Not just down. it came down from 2+ billion dollors in 2021 to 1.6 billion now. Its like almost 20-30% down year on year performance.
revenue down for Converse, so they have to do something, is my guess
He basically said (without directly saying it) that there is some type of reorganization coming and new structure will be in place for Q4. Rest of the meeting focused on brand strategy
