Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

A word of caution

After the last round of cuts, anyone who picks up all the extra slack is just setting themselves up for more trouble. I'm sticking strictly to my contracted hours and focusing on my core tasks. If our overall output drops, that's a direct reflection of the staffing decisions, not our effort. It's the only way management might actually see the problem they created.

PepsiCo has garbage snack foods and sugary beverages. Ok if you spend your own money. Many states have excluded these from SNAP benefits using tax payer funds. People got fat and diabetic. Shameful

@af yup there's more cuts coming and at this point there's no upside to doing more of anything.

Won't really increase chances of surviving either.

@a7 I am strictly doing the hours required. Let them give it to their Indian partners

This was their chance to retaliate on certain employees who had brought up valid concerns on unethical and immoral practices. Just to bypass the code of conduct and the anti retaliation rules. Some managers are now getting bold and speaking very reckless to there direct reports. Seems like they know they are safe or they just are letting pent up emotions out slowly before they go. I had to check a manager on Friday for a comment that I felt was out of line. He was like “ okay bet “ so I guess I brought the hood out of him. So I could be next. Golden rule ALWAYS stand up for yourself because they will walk over you every chance they get.
