Isn’t it all double-speak when there’s no follow-through?

My favorite is “we are realigning to be more member centric” which actually means, you must refer everyone to Centerwell mail order pharmacy because we need every penny to be able to give raises to overpaid C suite executives and too many middle managers that do not anything but have strategy meetings (ie think of stupid ideas).

This (below) is not an actual phrase that was spoken or written, but I could see this being used to say..."things are not going to plan, we need a different approach to meet our goals" ..................

"We believe a strong holistic, pragmatic, pivot will present the desired outcomes,"

--

Can we stop burying the message in unnecessary vocabulary?
STOP, already, with the Word-of-the-Day over usage.

Humana Executives use “ Mission,” “strategy,” “operational excellence,” “trajectory,” “value proposition” — all sound positive attitudes like Navy seals Operations but lack concrete, measurable action steps….. vague by design of double Speak.

“Our mission is to empower lives through transformative solutions that drive meaningful impact for our stakeholders.”

Translation:
We want to make mo’money without saying “we want to make mo’money.”

“We’re leveraging synergies to optimize customer-centric value creation.”
Translation: No one knows what this means, including the person who wrote it.

And my favorite is -
: “We are realigning our workforce for future growth.”
Translation: Cutting people, Layoffs
