I’m going to leave next year regardless once my CIP hits. Is there a way to EOI so I get severance? What if I just stop working? Will I get severance for involuntary termination? Between a prorated CIP, Cobra, and severance it could be worth over 100k for me to do this vs. leaving voluntarily.

@ae nope they will sever your employment a coupla days before the cip cut off, miserable miserly ba----ds that they are with their millions for the execs.
Just don’t show up 4 days a week starting in January. You will be laid off with severance after a few months.
Yes it's too late and you already know that
Some days, I too, wish I had been laid-off. However, I've been trying to reframe my mind as best as possible. I have financial goals and this is just a job. A means to an end.
@OP don’t worry. All will be well. There will be more layoffs next year and judging by your complete lack of intelligence they will throw you right out the door.
If you can stomach it you can just quiet quit and hope you are laid off. In the past you would be kept around for at least 5 years but maybe you’ll be fired with severance in the new “meaner” Chevron (like Exxon does with pips). If you are fired you will still qualify for a prorated CIP (unless it’s for cause, which basically only gets asserted if you stole from the company).
of course you wont. That is why there were deadlines. They budgeted and reported this expense.
Troll, if you dont know the basics then you are not deserved to be working for this company. This is beyond stupid question.
Mind if I ask what caught you by surprise?
