Dept of labor opens 175 investigations on H1B abuse

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-admin-reveals-over-100-investigations-into-h-1b-abuses-as-it-pledges-every-resource-to-protect-us-jobs

Duck and cover. How much did Walmart cover up? How many H1Bs were rigged or abused.

Walmart needs to be investigated and exposed for how many American jobs have been cut in favor of H1B’s.

And that H1B program needs to be cut back and revamped to prevent abuse. It’s disgusting.

I hate Trump. And I think the mass deportations is deplorable

Still, even I, a lefty, believe the H1B visas have been greatly abused by Walmart. In fact, I think it puts those who are using the visa and I incredibly exploitive situation in which sycophancy is the only option.

I am an associate, and I work with ton A fellow associates holding these visas. All I see is leadership able to intimidate them more, even when what to do is a terrible idea. They either deserve more protective visas than the H1B provides, or they should not be able to get a visa at all, forcing the company to pay what they can actually afford and use more domestic talent That truly pushes back on strategy when needed. No way to swim upstream when they can just kick you out of the river at any given minute.

So, yeah, I approve of the recent controls on H1B visas, and think Walmart is one of the biggest abusers thereof. The only way Walmart will move so if you hit them at the bottom line.

I’d love to see Walmart called on the carpet for years and years of H1B misuse and abuse. We need some corporate whistleblowers to call the DOJ and spill their guts. Plenty of VPs, Directors and managers should be in jail after lying on the H1B forms
