Thread regarding Paramount Global layoffs

I'm not worried about it at all. I’ll mount a device that sends an RFID signal using my card, simulating clock-in and clock-out swipe, one at 8 a.m. and another at 5 p.m.,to comply with sign-in/sign-out requirements if needed. That should be a fitting response to their ridiculous RTA policy

They said they started looking at our badge swipes when it was discovered a couple people were not coming in at all when we were supposed to be back in multiple days a week, but those people were kept and others not so it didn’t seem to matter

I work in facilities in NYC. The answer is no.

No. Each group was given a money target to hit. It had nothing to do with badge swipes.

I doubt it. They fired lots in departments that came to the office at least twice a week. However I’m sure they’ll be enforcing rto with maybe laptop tracking or badge swipes. They don’t need your permission to track anything they give u, and it’s not some additional cost to them to do it.

Most of my team has not been in since they announced RTO in January and none of us were laid off this week so I don’t think they used that as a factor. Maybe in the future? But doesn’t seem like it this time

No idea but there are other ways they can track you. Worked at a company that tracked us by our computers logging into the wifi
